Receptionist/ Administrative Assistant (Maternity Cover)

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the administrative assistant is responsible for handling administrative tasks including but not limited to: handling incoming & outgoing telephone calls, receiving visitors, scheduling meetings, mail management, raising office stationery, kitchen and toiletries requisitions and filing of office documents and correspondence.

The administrative assistant will also work closely with the procurement & logistics coordinator and provide support to duties not limited to: tracking vendors’ contractual agreements, identifying purchasing needs, hotel, logistics and flight reservations, receiving goods and services as well as responding to queries from internal and external clients regarding procurement matters.

As an experienced professional, you will have proven administrative/front office support experience of at least 3 years, possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong organisational skills and be detail-oriented.

Ability to multi task, build effective working relationships with colleagues and maintain confidentiality are essential. Fluent communication (verbally and in writing) in both English and Swahili is a MUST.

You must be a holder of a Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, HR Management, Supply Chain or related field. A first degree in the above fields will be an added advantage.
